WoW Weekly 100 Words - Hop along!

My apologies for posting this late this morning. It's already been one of those days! And, I've not been reading or writing much this past week, as most of my time has been wrapped up in a family crisis--my Aunt Martha Bell was hospitalized and is now in a nursing home. I expect I'll be spending a lot of time visiting her this week as well.

Today, for WoW Weekly 100 Words, using The Word Count Tool, I'll share with you 100 words from the book I received in the mail this week - The Productive Writer - won in a book giveaway held by author Sheila Deeth. Be sure to visit Sheila, she's posted a book review as well as a guest appearance by the author, Sage Cohen. I am so looking forward to finishing up a few reading and reviewing projects so I can delve into this non-fiction publication.

The Productive Writer: Tips & Tools to Help You Write More, Stress Less & Create Success. From the "Introduction", page 2:

"Are you ready to discover that what you want most in your writing life is not just possible but probable? Are you prepared to step into the rightful rhythms and productive practices that are yours and yours alone? Get ready to stake your claim on the writing life you most desire.
I hope this book proves good company as you vision, dream, and blueprint your own, personal productive writer possibilities--and then raise the barn with the systems, strategies, and attitudes that can transform you from A Person Who Writes into The Productive Writer. (No wardrobe change or phone booth required.)"

  2. Same here, Shellie. Without the personal factor I'd have trouble being interested in things.

As for the resolutions... goals are good, but I don't generally "resolve" to do anything.

  5. I'm glad you're enjoying it Ruthi. Sage is going to give a talk at our writing group in March; I'm really looking forward to it.

And maybe soon I'll take time to figure out what a blog hop is. Currently reading Devil's Trill, Last Druid, and Lady in Waiting.
