    1. Ann, that is my favorite reading place, too, although I always fall asleep and don't get much reading done!

  2. When I was a teenager, it was the tree in our backyard! It was shaped just perfectly for me to climb up and literally get lost to the world! Now it's my couch or easy chair!

    1. Sharon, it has been so long since I climbed a tree! And yes, as a kid I did a lot of reading (and snacking) in an apple tree.

  3. Actually living in a lively household with a 5 and 7 year old Grandson's...I enjoy going to my room and getting in my bed. I have a big pillow to lay back on and oh...wonderful!

    1. Having wee grandsons in the house is definitely a good reason to go to your room and hide your nose in a book!

    1. I am pretty much the same and keep a book in the car, in my purse, books in every room of the house, and so forth. But reading in bed is my favorite--except that I fall asleep too easily and don't get much reading done.

  6. The bath. House to myself, put a few good CDs on, good book, glass of iced Pepsi Max, bubbles, unlimited hot water ....

    1. Oh, yes! Paul, reading in a hot oil bubble bath is one of my favorite places to read and relax, too. But I prefer a glass of wine along with the book and suds.
